Subject:  Isles Girls & Guys

We have just completed a very successful moving sale with the "Girls and Guys" team from the PGICA.
They are so organized and professional for a volunteer group of people.

They came into our home, took charge of marking all the furniture and household goods, and handled every detail in such a great way.

They advertised our sale in the newspaper, came to the house and priced every single item which was to be sold.  On the two days of the sale, they arranged for parking the cars, handled the flow of people into our home so there was no problem with a crowd.

We were very satisfied with the results of the sale.  Our home was cleaned up and all unsold items put in a place convenient for our choice of disposal which they even offered to contact for us.

To sum it up, it was a stress-free, enjoyable experience because of their actions and friendly interaction with us both.  I would very highly recommend this group to anyone needing this service.

To the Isles Girls & Guys:

Thank you so much for your organizational skills, your work ethics and, most of all, your friendliness when you were conducting our moving/estate sale.

As we all are aware, selling your home and the contents of the home can be quite overwhelming!!

However, your expertise conducting our sale not only made it fun, but provided us with an opportunity to see how wonderful your team interacts and operates…excellently!!

Again, thank you for such a wonderful experience and I most definitely would recommend your services to anyone needing this service.

I sincerely wish your group would travel to the New York area so that we New Yorkers would benefit from your services.

RE:       Isles Girls & Guys

Dear Mr. Wagner:

Let me begin by saying that this letter is long overdue as I intended to write last fall. Although time got away from me, my gratitude to the Isles Girls & Guys remained foremost on my mind.

My father, Warren Benson, was a resident of Punta Gorda Isles from 1996 until his passing last summer.  As the oldest child and Executor of his estate, I spent the summer last year with him until he passed and stayed on to deal with the issues that followed. One of those issues was the maintenance and sale of his home. A family friend recommended  that I contact the Isles Girls & Guys with regard to the necessary estate sale.

I want to express what a great service they provide. From start to finish, I could not have been happier with the entire process. It was explained in detail up front. The team that came to the house was kind and compassionate. There was no pressure to decide exactly what was to be in the sale, which was nice as family members had not yet decided what items they might keep. They asked for my input on the pricing, although I agreed with all of their suggestions. I decided to wait until October to have the sale and, while I was back in Illinois before the sale, the communication and follow-up by the organization was very thorough. The rules they set out were adhered to by all involved.

When I travelled back to Florida the week of the sale, I had concerns that there was enough time for the set up. Was I wrong! On set-up day, they worked like a well-oiled machine. Everyone knew exactly what they were to do and they completed the job in the time they said they would. My husband and I were amazed. Again, everyone was so kind. The handling of the proceeds was very careful and performed in my presence. I was included in the count both days.

That week turned out to be a very emotional week for me. The Isles Girls & Guys really took care of us. I considered this an invaluable service. I have had a number of friends and family in recent years that have dealt with companies to handle estate sales and every one of them have ended up feeling angry, pressured or ripped off in some way.

I hope the residents of PGI appreciate the wonderful service this group of people provides.

Sincerely yours,

Beth Sebesta
